Current K14 Revision is A
Microchip continues to offer higher functionality in their PIC microcotrollers which allows us to offer better and better keyer ICs. Our latest keyer is the K14 and it is available now. This is our 16th year selling keyer ICs and we have implemented a list of "please add this" requests as well as things that no other keyer chip can offer. The new K14 has non-volatile EEPROM memory, when you remove power it retains messages and settings. Twelve memory slots are supported along with many new embedded commands. In addition to HSCW support the K14 provides QRSS for VLF beacon work. The K14 I.C., as well as three K14 kits, are available. The chip cost is $8 and the kit cost is $19 each.
K14 Keyer Kits - Replaced by K16 Kits
The K14-BAT Kit is for standalone applications where external power is not available. Since the idle current of the K14 is so low a CR2032 coin cell can last many months.
Board size: 2.0" x 1 5/8"
Kits include the K14 chip, PCB, and board mounted parts as shown. Click to enlarge.
Sorry, we do not offer enclosures for these kits
The K14-EXT Kit is the same as a K14-BAT except it is set up to operate with an external power supply. An on board regulator is included.

The K14-EMB Kit is designed to mount on the front panel of a radio enclosure by the paddle jack. Sidetone audio output is provided to directly drive a speaker.
